Prior to working at Brunskill, Brian was a paralegal for 10 years at a leading fraud and regulatory firm. Prior to that he served 27 years as a police officer during which he spent time in the Fraud Squad and Special Branch. He was involved in sensitive and discreet work which involved close liaison with the security services.
Brian is an expert at interviewing witnesses and suspects under the provisions of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act. He is experienced at giving evidence at court and has extensive knowledge in relation to conducting investigative enquiries and intelligence gathering. He is able to make defence related enquiries on behalf of defendant’s in criminal proceeings or can act on behalf of businesses who wish to conduct private fraud investigations without the involvement of the police.
